    >> Overview

Qatar is a country with a lot of places for its visitors. One of the key places you should not miss is the Museums. This package will cover 3 important museums.

    1. Museum Of Islamic Arts

Explore one of the most comprehensive collections of Islamic art in the world, with masterpieces from every corner of the globe representing the diversity found in Islamic heritage.

Designed by internationally renowned architect I.M. Pei, MIA’s complex includes a five-storied main building with an adjacent education wing connected by a large central courtyard. The main building features a high domed atrium within a central tower. The cream-colored limestone exterior captures the changes in light and shade during the day.

    Timing : Saturday–Thursday: 9 am –7 pm
    Fridays: 1.30pm – 7 pm

    2. National Museum of Qatar

The National Museum of Qatar gives voice to Qatar’s rich heritage and culture. We welcome diverse communities to our vibrant and immersive space to come together to experience Qatar’s past, present and future. Completed in 2019, the museum’s building has been constructed around the centerpiece of Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani’s original palace – his family home and seat of the government for 25 years. The palace has been carefully restored and conserved so that it can be enjoyed by visitors and future generations to come.

The complex form of the desert rose, found in Qatar's arid desert regions, inspired the striking design of the building, conceived by French architect Jean Nouvel.
In addition to the unique architecture and stunning gallery spaces, the building features a 220-seat auditorium, two restaurants, a café and a traditional food forum.

For scholars and students, the museum offers a new research center and laboratories along with access to digital archives. A landscaped park also provides visitors with a chance to explore and learn about Qatar’s indigenous plants and their role in Qatari culture.

    Timing : Saturday–Thursday: 9 am –7 pm
    Fridays: 1.30pm – 7 pm

    3. Msheirib Enrichment center

The floating platform is an educational facility situated on Doha’s West Bay waterfront. The structure includes gathering spaces for public events including a Majlis, a gallery, a small theatre, and an outdoor shaded terrace. The design reflects features and characteristic of traditional Qatari homes in the ceilings, panels, doors, shutters, and some of the furniture, decorated with calligraphy, inscriptions, patterns and carvings from the rich history of the region.

    Timing : Saturday–Thursday: 9 am –7 pm
    Fridays: 1.30pm – 7 pm
